Reset your password

Set a new password when you've forgotten yours, through a link the portal emails you. To change a password you know, see Manage your profile.

Before you start

  • Access to the email address on your account.

Reset it

  1. On the Breqwatr Cloud Portal (Strata) sign-in page, choose Forgot your password?.
  2. Enter the Email on your account and choose Send reset instructions. The portal says you'll get an email if the address has an account, so it doesn't reveal which addresses do.
  3. Open the email, titled "Reset password instructions", and choose Change my password. The link works once, within six hours.
  4. Enter the new password twice and choose Change password. It needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
  5. Sign in with the new password and a code from your authenticator app: see Sign in.

Resetting your password doesn't change MFA: the next sign-in still asks for a code.

If you didn't ask for a reset email, ignore it. Your password doesn't change unless someone uses the link.

Check it worked

You can sign in with the new password, and the old one is refused.
